Accessibility Statement

Yumi Yogurt is a family-owned frozen yogurt shop with stores in San Mateo, Santa Clara and Redwood City. We want everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to use our website and enjoy our stores.

Our goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These are widely used guidelines for making websites easier to use for people with disabilities.

What we have done

• Improved color contrast on text, buttons and menus
• Added visible focus outlines so keyboard users can see where they are on the page
• Labeled our store maps, order links and contact form fields so screen readers can announce them clearly
• Fixed the keyboard tab order on our forms
• We test our pages with automated accessibility tools
• Offered an accessibility toolbar (the icon on each page) with options such as larger text and higher contrast

We keep reviewing the site and fixing problems as we find them.

Known limitations

Some parts of our site come from other companies, such as our online ordering pages (provided by Square) and embedded Google Maps. We don’t control these services, and they may not be fully accessible. Some pages may still have minor issues that we are working to fix.
